Zhoushan: islands and sands

Zhoushan is a stop worth making a special stop in the Sea and Sky Buddhist Kingdom. For two days and one night, between the suburbs of Putuo and Zhujiajian, encounter the unique atmosphere of Zhoushan.

The first impression Zhoushan gives is almost always from the outskirts of Putuo. When it actually appears before your eyes, the imagination in the picture suddenly gains weight, and the journey officially begins from that moment.

When it comes to Zhoushan, locals usually mention Zhujiajian first. Only after experiencing it do you realize that landmarks are never isolated scenery, but the entrance to an entire section of life.

Shengsi hides another side of Zhoushan. With less crowding from tourists and more daily warmth, you suddenly feel like you've briefly become a person here.

If you have the energy, go to the Eastern Pole for a while. There is no standard answer there, only your own rhythm, perfectly filling the itinerary.

Zhoushan taught me one thing: you don't have to chase after every sight, just as the Putuo suburbs taught me—the best scenery is often where you're willing to stop and look at it carefully.
