Venice is a stop worth making a special stop in Italy's water city. For 2 days and 1 night, experience the unique atmosphere of Venice between St. Mark's Square and the Grand Canal.
Before venturing deep into Venice, the presence of St. Mark's Square had already arrived. Seeing that scene from afar, even the fatigue from traveling quietly eased, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.
The Grand Canal is the most captivating part of Venice. Following its veins slowly, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and slipping into a gondola, Venice reveals its true self. Old people, alleys, stoves, and laughter all settle into memory before the sights do.
After nightfall, Venice's Rialto Bridge lights up, and the warm yellow glow gently embraces the grandeur of the day. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
When leaving Venice, I felt a bit reluctant, but the image of St. Mark's Square replayed in my mind. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved the trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself with you.
