Uyuni: The Mirror of the Sky and the Universe of Salt

Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat, and during the rainy season, it becomes a mirror of the sky. Over four days and three nights, between the mirror and flamingos, you encounter the wonder of heaven and earth merging.

The rainy season sky mirrors, thin water covering salt shells, clouds, mountains, and sunsets all reflected, making one feel as if walking through the heavens. It is one of the must-see scenes in this lifetime.

Staying a night at a salt brick hotel, the walls, tables, and chairs are all made of salt, and even the air smells salty. Human imagination can blossom even in the wilderness.

Flamingos forage in the colorful ponds by the salt lake, their pink feathers reflecting the white salt—the only warm color in this pale landscape. They are the true masters of the salt marsh.

Cactus Island (Incahuasi) is an island in the Salt Sea covered with giant cacti. From the summit, you can see white everywhere, as if standing on another planet.
