Sarajevo is a stop worth making a special stop in this diverse mountain city. For 2 days and 1 night, between the Old Town and the Latin Bridge, you'll encounter Sarajevo's unique atmosphere.
Before venturing deep into Sarajevo, the atmosphere of the old city had already arrived. From afar, seeing that scene, even the fatigue from traveling quietly eased, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.
The Latin Bridge is Sarajevo's most captivating feature. Walking along its veins, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and slipping into the mosque, Sarajevo reveals its true self. Old people, alleys, stoves, and laughter all enter your memory before the sights do.
After nightfall, the mountains of Sarajevo are lit up, and the warm yellow glow turns the grandeur of the day into gentleness. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
When leaving Sarajevo, I felt a bit reluctant, but what replayed in my mind was the old city. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved the trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself with you.
