Rwanda is a stop worth making a special stop in the Land of Hills. For 2 days and 1 night, encounter the unique scent of Rwanda between Kigali and gorillas.
Before venturing deep into Rwanda, Kigali's presence had already arrived. From afar, seeing that scene, even the fatigue from traveling quietly eased, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.
Gorillas are the most captivating part of Rwanda. Following its veins slowly, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and squeezing into the hills, Rwanda reveals itself as it truly is. Old people, alleys, stoves, and laughter all settle into memory before the sights do.
After nightfall, Rwanda's lakes are lit up, and the warm yellow glow turns the grandeur of the day into a gentle glow. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
When leaving Rwanda, I felt a bit reluctant, but Kigali was playing back in my mind. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved the trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself with you.
