Pokhara is a stop at the foot of Annapurna worth making a special stop. For 3 days and 2 nights, encounter the unique atmosphere of Pokhara between Lake Phewa and the sunrise at Annapurna.
Before venturing deep into Pokhara, the presence of Fewa Lake had already arrived. Seeing that scene from afar, even the fatigue from traveling quietly eased, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.
The sunrise in Annapurna is the most captivating part of Pokhara. Walking along its veins, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and slipping into the Peace Pagoda, Pokhara reveals its true self. Old people, alleys, stoves, and laughter—these memories take place before the sights do.
After nightfall, the paragliding lights in Pokhara turn on, and the warm yellow glow turns the grandeur of the day into a gentle glow. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
When leaving Pokhara, I felt a bit reluctant, but the image of Phewa Lake played back in my mind. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved the trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself with you.
