Okinawa is a stop worth making a special stop in the Ryukyu Blue Sea. For 3 days and 2 nights, between Shurijo Castle and Churaumi Aquarium, you'll experience the unique atmosphere of Okinawa.
Before venturing deep into Okinawa, the presence of Shurijo Castle had already arrived. Seeing that scene from afar, even the fatigue from traveling quietly soothed it, and all I wanted was to stand a little longer.
The Churaumi Aquarium is one of Okinawa's most captivating sights. Following its veins slowly, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and slipping into the U.S. military village, Okinawa reveals its true self. Old people, alleys, stoves, and laughter all settle into memory before the sights do.
After nightfall, Okinawa's beaches are lit up, and the warm yellow glow gently embraces the grandeur of the day. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
When leaving Okinawa, I felt a bit reluctant, but the memory of Shuri Castle replayed in my mind. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved the trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself with you.
