Nyelam is a stop worth making a special stop at Zhangmu Port. In one day, between Zhangmu and Xishabangma, you will encounter the unique atmosphere of Nielamu.
The first impression Nielam gives is almost always from camphor wood. When it actually appears before your eyes, the imagination in the picture suddenly gains weight, and the journey officially begins from that moment.
When it comes to Nyalamu, locals usually first mention Xishabangma. Only after experiencing it do you realize that landmarks are never isolated scenery, but rather the entrance to an entire section of life.
Hidden in the Friendship Bridge lies another side of Nielamu. With less crowd from tourists and more daily warmth, you suddenly feel like you've briefly become one of the people here.
If you have the energy, go explore the canyon. There's no standard answer there, only your own rhythm, perfectly filling your itinerary.
Nielam taught me one thing: you don't have to chase every sight, just as Zhangmu taught me—the best scenery is often where you're willing to stop and look at it carefully.
