Nara is a stop worth making a special stop at among the Deer and Ancient Temples. In one day, between Nara Park and Todai-ji, experience the unique atmosphere of Nara.
Before venturing deep into Nara, the atmosphere of Nara Park arrived first. From afar, seeing that scene, even the fatigue from traveling quietly soothed, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.
Todai-ji is the most visually stunning spot in Nara. Walking along its veins, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and slipping into Kasuga Taisha, Nara reveals its true self. Old people, alleys, stoves, and laughter all settle in your memories before the sights do.
After nightfall, the deer in Nara turn on their lights, and the warm yellow glow turns the grandeur of the day into a gentle glow. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a kind of arrival.
When leaving Nara, I felt a bit reluctant, but what played in my mind was Nara Park. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved the trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself with you.
