Nanxun is a stop worth stopping at in Jiangnan's ancient towns. For 2 days and 1 night, between Baijianlou and Xiaolianzhuang, you'll encounter the unique atmosphere of Nanxun.
The first impression Nanxun gives is almost always from Baijian Tower. When it actually appears before your eyes, the imagination in the picture suddenly gains weight, and the journey officially begins from that moment.
When it comes to Nanxun, locals usually mention Xiaolianzhuang first. Only after experiencing it do you realize that a landmark is never an isolated sight, but the entrance to an entire section of life.
The Jiaye Hall Library hides another side of Nanxun. With less crowding from tourists and more daily warmth, you suddenly feel like you've briefly become part of this place.
If you have the energy, visit Zhang Shiming's old residence. There's no standard answer there, only your own pace, just filling your itinerary perfectly.
Nanxun taught me one thing: you don't have to chase after every sight, just as Baijianlou taught me—the best scenery is often where you're willing to stop and look at it carefully.
