Nagqu: Yaks and lakes

Naqu is a stop on the Qiangtang grasslands worth making a special stop. One day, between Qiangtang and the grasslands, encounter the unique atmosphere of Nagqu.

Before even stepping deep into the music, the breath of Qiangtang had already arrived. From afar, seeing that scene, even the fatigue from traveling quietly soothed it, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.

The grassland is the most captivating part of that song. Walking along its veins, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.

Avoiding the crowds, you slip into the yaks, and the song reveals its true form. Old people, alleys, stoves, and laughter all settle in your memory before the scenic spots.

After nightfall, the prayer flags light up, and the warm yellow light turns the grandeur of the day into gentleness. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.

When leaving that song, I felt a bit reluctant, but in my mind, the song played back to Qiangtang. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved this trip was not in vain—it quietly left a part of itself within you.
