Before venturing deep into Kuching, the atmosphere of the Cat Museum arrived first. Seeing that scene from afar, even the fatigue from traveling quietly eased, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.
Kuching's Old Street is the most captivating part of Kuching. Walking along its veins, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and slipping into the pagoda, Kuching reveals its true self. Old people, alleys, stoves, and laughter all settle into your memories before the sights do.
After nightfall, the longhouses in Kuching are lit up, and the warm yellow glow turns the grandeur of the day into a gentle glow. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
