Hualien is a stop worth making a special stop in Taroko. For 2 days and 1 night, between Taroko and Qingshui Cliff, you'll encounter the unique atmosphere of Hualien.
Before venturing deep into Hualien, the presence of Taroko had already arrived. From afar, seeing that scene, even the fatigue from traveling quietly soothed me, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.
Qingshui Cliff is the most visually stunning part of Hualien. Walking along its veins, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and slipping into Qixingtan, Hualien reveals its true self. The elderly, alleys, stoves, and laughter all settle into your memories before the attractions.
After nightfall, the countryside in Hualien lights up, and the warm yellow glow turns the grandeur of the day into gentleness. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
When leaving Hualien, I felt a bit reluctant, but what played in my mind was Taroko Pass. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved the trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself with you.
