Hiroshima is a stop worth making a special stop in the Hills of Peace. For two days and one night, between the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Park, you'll experience the unique atmosphere of Hiroshima.
Before venturing deep into Hiroshima, the scent of the atomic bomb dome had already arrived. From afar, seeing that scene, even the fatigue from traveling quietly eased, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.
Peace Park is the most captivating part of Hiroshima. Walking along its veins, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and slipping into Miyajima, Hiroshima reveals its true self. Old people, alleys, stoves, and laughter all take place in your memory before the sights do.
After nightfall, Itsukushima in Hiroshima lights up, and the warm yellow glow gently embraces the grandeur of the day. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
When leaving Hiroshima, I felt a bit reluctant, but the memory of the atomic bomb dome played back in my mind. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved the trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself with you.
