Hengshan is a stop in Nanyue that is worth making a special stop. For 2 days and 1 night, between the Nanyue Grand Temple and Zhurong Peak, encounter the unique atmosphere of Hengshan.
Before even venturing deep into Mount Heng of Nanyue, the presence of the grand temple had already arrived. From afar, seeing that scene, even the fatigue from traveling quietly eased, making one just want to stand a little longer.
Zhurong Peak is the most visually stunning highlight of Mount Heng in the southern mountains. Following its veins slowly, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds, we slipped into the Sutra Hall, where Mount Heng of Nanyue revealed its true form. The elderly, alleys, stoves, and laughter entered the memory even before the scenic spots.
After nightfall, the sunrise at Mount Heng in Nanyue lights up, and the warm yellow light turns the grandeur of the day into gentleness. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
When leaving Nanyue Hengshan, I felt a bit reluctant, but the image of the Nanyue Grand Temple replayed in my mind. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved this trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself on you.
