Chaohu: Lake and Laoshan

Chaohu Lake is a must-visit stop among the Jianghuai pearls. In one day, between Laoshan Island and Zhongmiao, you encounter the unique atmosphere of Chaohu.

Before venturing deep into Chaohu Lake, the presence of Laoshan Island arrived first. From afar, seeing that scene, even the fatigue from traveling quietly eased, making one want to stand a little longer.

Zhongmiao is the most captivating part of Chaohu. Following its veins slowly, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.

Avoiding the crowds and slipping into the hot springs, Chaohu Lake reveals its true self. The elderly, alleys, stove fires, and laughter all settle in memory before the scenic spots do.

After nightfall, the wetlands of Chaohu are lit up, and the warm yellow glow turns the grandeur of the day into gentleness. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a form of arrival.
