Changbai Mountain is the number one sacred mountain in Northeast China and the birthplace of the Manchu people. For three days and two nights, encounter the wonders of one mountain and four seasons between Tianchi, waterfalls, and hot springs.
Tianchi is a crater lake, also the border lake between China and North Korea. Whether you can see it depends entirely on luck—clouds and mist swirl over the pool year-round. Once the sky clears, that deep blue is enough to make up for all the waiting.
At the foot of the mountain, Changbai Waterfall plunges down a cliff and is the source of the Songhua River. The sound of water roars, vapor turns into mist, and in winter it freezes into a massive ice waterfall—truly magnificent.
Soaking in a volcanic hot spring, snowflakes fall on your shoulders while your body feels warm. The outdoor hot spring pool faces the snowy mountains, perfectly symbolizing the "ice and fire world."
Underground forests and vertical forest zones, from temperate to cold zones, each step reveals a new scene. In autumn, red maples and birches intertwine, forming the photographer's palette.
Changbai's ever-changing scenery stacks the four seasons on one mountain. When you wait by Tianchi from mist to clear skies, you'll understand: the best scenery often rewards those who are patient.
