Batang is a stop worth making a special stop in Xianzi's hometown. One day, between the suburbs of Cuopu and the Sister Lakes, encounter the unique atmosphere of Batang.
Before venturing deep into Batang, the atmosphere of the outskirts of Cuopu had already arrived. From afar, seeing that scene, even the fatigue from traveling quietly eased, and I just wanted to stand a little longer.
Sister Lakes are the most visually stunning part of Batang. Following its veins slowly, every corner hides a different expression, stretching time and space here.
Avoiding the crowds and slipping into the Jinsha River, Batang reveals its true self. The elderly, alleys, stoves, and laughter all settle into memory before the sights do.
After nightfall, the tea horses in Batang turn on with their lights, and the warm yellow light turns the grandeur of the day into gentleness. Sitting down and doing nothing is also a kind of arrival.
When leaving Batang, I felt a bit reluctant, but the outskirts of Cuopu replayed in my mind. But it was precisely this reluctance that proved the trip was worthwhile—it quietly left a part of itself with you.
