After the typhoon 🌀, I kept hoping the beach would come up with something 😆. Today, I ran all day excitedly and ended 🤦 up exhausted
There were really a lot of people at Gate 9 of Vanke—the beach was full of empty shells 🐚, and there were lots of small clams, so many were collecting. Some were buried in the sand, squandering there and digging enthusiastically with small shovels. There were also quite a few in the waves 🌊. Experienced ones just grabbed 😆 nets to scoop them up, then slowly picked them up. It was quite satisfying to watch.
I heard that those who arrived early even managed to catch some Oncomelania and scallop snails, but the quantity wasn't large; whether you got one depends entirely on 🐶 luck. The clams that rushed up in the morning were generally larger, so if you want to catch the bigger ones, you have to act early 😆.
If you happen to be at Shuangyue Bay, bringing kids to play and dig for clams in the sand is quite fun, but if you're far away, there's no need to make a special trip, since it's not just a place where you can pick 😆 up clams everywhere
