Before the Dragon Boat Festival, seeing the flood warning, I reluctantly canceled my Jingdezhen trip, but not wanting to waste the holiday, I decided to go into the mountains two days early and lie flat. Unexpectedly, by chance, I had an experience beyond expectationsβwho would have thought that Changxing during the Dragon Boat Festival would be so quiet and beautiful, and just slacking off in a hotel would be π§ so comfortable
Day 1: Drove from Shanghai at noon, about two and a half hours to Huajiantang Yishui. The front desk directly upgraded the room typeβsuper lucky! Dinner was ordered at the hotel; the food was standard but convenient. After all, in the mountains, takeout is basically hard to order, and eating out requires a bit of a drive. It's the first day, so I was too lazy to bother π
Day 2: Sleep in until you wake up naturally, then visit Datang Tribute Tea House at noon. Parking is free, ticket 70 yuan per person (booking online in advance was only 60 yuan; we came after seeing a post and could only buy at full price that day). The scenic area is very empty, nothing like a holiday. With few people, the photos are super photogenic, and even when it rains, the atmosphere is very good. But there isn't much to explore inside. Although it's supposed to promote tribute tea culture, many places are empty and poorly maintained, so you can't learn much. The ticket includes a cup of local specialty purple bamboo shoot tea and some sunflower seed snacks. It's fine to sit down for tea and rest when you get tired from shopping. Overall, the value for money is average, so don't π€ͺ expect too much when you come
Day 3: Spent the whole day at the hotel participating in various small activities, and spent the rest of the time lying flat in the room. After changing the latex pillow from the front desk, my sleep quality skyrocketedβso good and awesome! Full π€³ of energy. I had already predicted rain, but it only drifted for a short while. Luckily, I caught the hotel's bonfire party, doubling π my happiness
