I woke up at 7 a.m., feeling full of energy, planning to spend the whole day slowly exploring Hangzhou.
I had arranged to pray at Lingyin Temple at 8 a.m. and took a stroll through the Zen-filled ancient temple, calming my mind. At 9:30, I strolled into the Hangzhou Botanical Garden, surrounded by greenery, and every casual photo was filled with healing forest photos. At 10:30, I arrived at Quyuan Fenghe and found the super popular Dream Core fish tank location. The golden fish tank paired with West Lake was the perfect summer photo spot.
Almost noon, I found a window seat by West Lake. Outside was all greenery, and I enjoyed a two-person lunch with my companions. I also ordered a bowl of crayfish mixed with Sichuan separately—who understands the joy of eating alone! After the meal, I went to the lakeside to feed the white pigeons, watching them walk leisurely. The relaxed feeling was so healing.
In the afternoon, continue walking along West Lake. At 2:00 p.m., pass by Jinniu Chushui next to West Lake Tiandi, stand on the bridge watching the crowds. At 3:00 p.m., I took photos of the same Yan Ye Zhi Ting as in the Yongjinmen Tunnel, creating a strong Japanese-style atmosphere. Then I visited Qianwang Shrine for a lotus exhibition. The ancient Song style was perfect for photos. At 4:30 p.m., I arrived at the classic bridge archway of 'Willows Singing Orioles.' One of the ten scenic spots of West Lake must have a name.
In the evening, I went to Xiaxu 2.0 and had a double combo gelato to cool off. For dinner, I specially found an old Hangzhou country restaurant—full of lively flavor and authentic flavor. At 7 PM, just after dark, I had a drink by West Lake with my girlfriends, chatting in the evening breeze—the atmosphere was perfect. At 8 PM, I packed a bag full of greenery and headed back happily. This citywalk in Hangzhou is over—I'll come again next time!
